Terms and Conditions
Brand Name and Registered Business Name
“Numinous Ways” refers to the brand name under which Numinous Ways Ltd. operates. In this document, “Numinous Ways” refers to the legal entity Numinous Ways Ltd, including the company itself and its representatives.
Application Process
To participate in a Numinous Ways retreat, you are required to complete an application form and provide personal information such as your name, email address, and other relevant details. You agree that all information provided will be truthful, accurate, and current. You also agree not to impersonate another individual or use an email address that does not belong to you.
Health Assessment Call
Upon reserving your spot and paying the deposit, you will be invited to schedule a health assessment call. This call is an important part of the process, and we encourage all participants to complete it with our staff before their reservation is confirmed. The call will be conducted via Zoom or Google Meet and will not be recorded unless you specifically request and authorise it. Our staff may take notes during the call for our records or to share with other relevant team members if necessary.
Missed Health Assessment Calls
We understand that plans may change; however, it is essential that you attend your scheduled health assessment call to ensure the smooth operation of our retreats. If you miss your scheduled call without prior notice, your reservation will be automatically cancelled, your room will be released back to our inventory, and your deposit will not be refunded. However, you may apply your deposit to a new booking if you make a new reservation within one month of the missed call. If you need to reschedule, please notify us via email before your scheduled call. Missing a second scheduled call will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
Refusal of Service
Our services are provided based on our acceptance of your application and payment. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at our sole discretion, without any obligation to provide an explanation. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, provided that we fulfil any existing commitments to you that arise from the acceptance of your payment.
Payment
You acknowledge that Numinous Ways reserves the right to offer sales or discounts on its products and services without compensation if you have previously paid a higher price. All payment plans must be paid in full prior to attending the retreat, unless otherwise agreed upon. If a payment remains unpaid for more than two weeks past the due date, Numinous Ways reserves the right to cancel the reservation associated with that payment plan, and any payments made up to that point will be non-refundable.
Please make all your payments to:
Numinous Ways Ltd
04-00-03 12598298
Refund and Cancellation
When booking a retreat, your payment includes a £250 non-refundable deposit. If your application is declined due to health concerns or at our discretion, you are entitled to a refund. However, if you choose to withdraw your application and cancel your reservation for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded.
If you decide to withdraw from the retreat after your reservation is confirmed, the £250 deposit remains non-refundable. The refund policy for the remaining balance of the retreat cost is as follows:
Time of Cancellation | Refund Amount (Deposit Non-Refundable) |
16 weeks or more before the retreat start date | Full Refund |
Between 6 to 16 weeks before the retreat start date | 50% Refund |
Less than 6 weeks before the retreat start date | No Refund |
If, for any reason, Numinous Ways Ltd. has to cancel a retreat, you may transfer your payment to another retreat or request a full refund. However, Numinous Ways Ltd. is not liable for any expenses incurred in preparation for a cancelled retreat, including travel costs, loss of work, or other related expenses. Please ensure your travel insurance provides adequate coverage for such circumstances.
Travel and Cancellation Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to safeguard against the financial consequences of any cancellation or withdrawal. Some insurance providers require that the policy be purchased within 14 days of your retreat reservation, so it is advisable to consult with your chosen insurer shortly after booking with us.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Numinous Ways be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of our website or services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from:
- Any failure of performance, error, omission, denial of service, attack, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, or system failure.
- Loss of revenue, anticipated profits, business, savings, goodwill, or data.
- Third-party theft, destruction, unauthorised access, alteration, or use of your information or property, regardless of any negligence on our part.
This limitation of liability applies even if Numinous Ways has been advised of or could have foreseen such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall Numinous Ways’ cumulative liability to you exceed the total purchase price of the services you have purchased from Numinous Ways. If no purchase has been made, our cumulative liability to you shall not exceed £100.
COVID Cancellations
In the event that a retreat must be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances related to COVID-19, Numinous Ways Ltd will notify you immediately. If postponement is not feasible, and quarantine is required, or travel is restricted by government regulations, any payments made, including the deposit, will be refunded or applied to a future retreat, minus any cancellation fees imposed by the retreat centre. This policy applies to force majeure situations, such as a quarantine or travel ban affecting the retreat location. Please note that we do not accept liability for cancellations due to a personal COVID-19 infection.
Force Majeure Event
No party shall be held liable or considered in breach of this Agreement for any failure or delay in fulfilling any term of this Agreement (excluding obligations to make previously owed payments) when such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the affected party. This includes, but is not limited to, the following force majeure events that frustrate the purpose of this Agreement:
