Clinical Sexologist

Brief info

Alexis Caught is a practicing psychotherapist (MBACP) and clinical sexologist (RegCOSRT), as well as a mental health researcher, author, and public speaker. He works across both public and private sectors, drawing on his extensive experience in LGBTQ+ mental health and psychosexual therapy. During his time in public health, Alexis co-developed the NHS’s first group therapy programmes for men who have sex with men (MSM) experiencing Compulsive Sexual Behaviours (CSB). His research used this pioneering intervention as the basis to explore the efficacy of group work and Compassion Focused Therapy for this population. The study has been accepted for presentation at academic conference, with publication due in 2025.
